Bryncethin Primary is a healthy school. Children can only bring fruit for a snack at break time.
We encourage children to drink water regularly and ask that a water bottle is provided. It is important to put the child’s name on the water bottle. The children will be given regular access to their water bottles throughout the day.
As we are a healthy school and to enable us to meet the dietary / allergy needs of the children, we kindly ask you not to send in any food items such as birthday cake, sweet treats, etc, as we will not be able to hand them out.
School meals are provided free of charge.
Pupils are allowed to bring packed lunches to school; we encourage you to provide a healthy lunchbox. Lunch boxes must npt contain drinks in glass bottles or cans as these can be dangerous. It is important to put the child’s name on the lunchbox. Children will bring home any rubbish or remaining food in their packed lunch boxes.
