Bryncethin Primary adopts the Local Authority’s policy and procedures for school admission. Government legislation means that parents have the choice of which school their child attends.

Bryncethin Primary has a Nursery unit providing full-time education in the year of their fourth birthday. Part-time Nursery is offered to a child the term after their third birthday.

In the event of applications exceeding the places available, priority will be determined in accordance with the oversubscription criteria defined in the Council’s “Admission to Schools” publication. Most children transfer at the age of 11 to Coleg Cymunedol Y Dderwen, Bridgend.
