Bridgend County Borough Council is the admissions authority for community schools. All applications for admission to Bryncethin Primary School must be made to Bridgend County Borough Council who will award places according to the Bridgend County Borough Council Admissions Policy.

Bryncethin Primary School provides education for children aged between 3 and 11 years old. Our Nursery unit provides part-time education for children the term after their third birthday and full-time education in the year of their fourth birthday.
Following a successful application for Reception, the year children have their fifth birthday, the children will progress through the school each year until they reach the end of Year 6 and then transition to comprehensive school education to continue their educational journey.
